A stunning parkland course that was challenging, wonderfully presented and, in many ways, majestic. Both our groups accidentally headed up the 8th from the 4th green, which would have been a tragedy since the 5th, 6th and 7th were all great holes. Crossing the road after 8 and you expect a drop in standard, but the course remains exciting throughout. Perhaps 16 and 17 are weaker holes, but the overall experience was terrific. Visiting from Boston, Massachusetts we played on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. We enjoyed everything about the club: the staff, the other players, and the beautiful course - challenging but manageable. They rented us some quality clubs, also. And when we got to the clubhouse a little late for lunch, a member guided us to a very nice restaurant in town. Overall, a great, memorable experience for my son and me. Great course and very friendly staff. I played it in February and didn't get rain, so lucky. It's so much like Scottish links course. It's really good you can reserve tee times without staying at the resort. There are 5 courses at Bandon GC and they are in the top 20 in the USA. Some stunning views as you go on the course.. the greens were really well maintained as was the course in general.. very accommodating staff also..will definitely be back!
