Super Lovely how they preserve the history of the region by converting some of the trabocchi to restaurants. They are usually closed during the off season (autumn and winter) and reopen towards the end of March/April. It is a great walk if you use the green path that runs all along the coast, you can of course cycle as well. Beautiful stretch of coastline, now very accessible by bike. the coast is beautiful, dotted with trabocchi, some used as restaurants, everything is very well looked after, the added value is the cycle path, a real highlight and added value Very romantic spot. The cycle path as well is amazing Amazing experience. Plenty of beautiful things to see and to do. The coastal cycle lane was amazing, and you can find plenty of places to hire bicycles ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Costa dei Trabocchi in Abruzzo is a beautiful area that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and unique local culture. I recently visited with my girlfriend, and we were impressed by the picturesque landscapes and the unique experiences the region has to offer. One of the highlights of our visit was the cycling road that runs right alongside the sea. It provided breathtaking views at every turn and was a delightful way to explore the area. The path is well-maintained and perfect for cyclists of all levels, offering a scenic and relaxing ride. While the sea wasn't particularly nice during our visit, we were told by locals that this isn't always the case, and it can be beautiful at other times. However, we did find that some of the locals were not as friendly and welcoming to tourists as we had hoped, which was a bit disappointing. The area is rich in history and culture, with the iconic trabocchi structures adding a unique touch to the coastal landscape. These ancient fishing platforms are fascinating to explore, and many have been transformed into charming seafood restaurants offering fresh and delicious local cuisine. Overall, Costa dei Trabocchi is a lovely destination with plenty to offer, from outdoor adventures to cultural experiences. While there were a few downsides to our visit, we still enjoyed the beautiful scenery and unique attractions, and would recommend visiting to experience its many highlights. Very interesting structures. Romantic also in Autumn. Nice location. Lovely coastline with fisherman's structures along the way. It's a great place for biking Beautiful place, but its better go by bike or scooter. Beautiful area A fantastic experience! From the food to the surroundings!
