Beautiful old church which was once used as a lookout for invasions from the sea. Sitting WWII, there was a lot of damage to the church, which has been restored. Unfortunately since then, people have been defacing the garden walls by etching their names, hometown and year. Really cool place, a good walk or bike ride, but for tourists I guess it’s better to reach by car It’s a XII century Abbazia, so it’s quite simple with no particular mosaici, or paintings but I found the three absidi a really cool concept Abbey is located on a small hill, there is a parking place nearby. But I recommend this place for stunning view of the sea and gardens that are part of the abbey. There is a small bar near the church. A beautiful abbey a short drive away from Paglieta. Absolutely stunning views, gorgeous architecture and a bar on site where you can buy pizza, patisserie and drinks. The server was very friendly and chatty! The only downside of this location was the toilets. They were not very clean, did not have any toilet paper, locks on toilet doors or hand soap.
