Kinnekulleled och pilgrimsled uppe på platån genom ett vackert och varierat landskap. Bra, men Bratteforsfallet på 58°33'17.3"N 13°23'55.9"E är nog än mer spektakulärt! Vägen till Bratteforsfallet: 1. Ställ bilen vid övre "hjärtat" (https://goo.gl/maps/QWsxAj6uZF1ZjFKJ7), följ de andra hjärtana till det nedre hjärtat (se min bild). 2. Gå söder över från parkeringen, förbi bommen, tills blåa leden korsar vägen ni går på och ta nu istället öster på blåa leden tills ni når en övergiven ladugård. 3. Gå sydväst på en alle/väg och förbi ett torp. Finn en stålstolpe (https://goo.gl/maps/u4MXhwYaYUTQZKY86) cirka 40 meter väster om grinden/muren som omger torpet. 4. Gå sydväst från stolpen över det öppna landskapet och följ de sporadiska stenplattorna i marken. 5. Fallet borde sedan höras efter några minuters promenad (https://goo.gl/maps/UWqLVr3o9Swyie9h7). Bilder över Bratteforsfallet! Varning, höga klippkanter, så var försiktiga. Finns en väg ned för branten med uppsatt rep öster om fallet. Kan vara rätt gyttigt, stövlar rekommenderas! The and thr surrounding landscape is fantastic. I visited there in early May. is a bit tricky to find, you need to locate the natural stone stairs and descend in order to see the waterfall. It may be dry in high summer, but in April-May it will be visible. There are farmsteads around, you can see pastoral scenery and cute sheep if you walk along the road down from the site. The was almost dry when we were there, but it is still nice scenery. The walk (1.4 km), from the parking, is along a limestone ridge, scenic and easy to walk. You can enjoy lots of typical flowers for the limestone area. We used google maps to get there. It wanted us to drive on a road that we were not allowed to drive on. Instead please follow the main road a little further and you will find a small parking area that starts the 1.4 km walk. Quiet isolated and great Fin natur med mycket vårblommor. But, locals have closed the road only for themselves and that's makes difficult to go by car. Omdat het zo droog is geweest, stroomde er geen water, maar nog steeds wel interessant. Wonderful little close to a naturereservat Lite mysigt. Missa inte trapporna uthuggna ut berget, det är minst lika mysigt där uppe. Där finns även lite bord och bänkar, så man kan äta sin medhavda fika. Det brukade vara väldigt fint här, men all skog kring vattenfallet har tagits ner och man känner knappt igen sig. Det är ett naturreservat i området men tyvärr ligger vattenfallet precis utanför gränsen och självklart blir det ännu ett kalhygge... Dåligt!!! Vattenfallet är fortfarande värt att se och stigen dit är fin, men tycker inte att sån här plats borde inte få förstöras så här. Fint men idag var det knappt något vatten pga att det inte regnat på länge men det var väntat. Nature here and the surrendings are absolutely gorgeous, even if the is dry you can actually see how all these different layers of rock make a nice view of the cliffs. And the owner of the land can make some use for the parking money to make sure it will be accessible in the future.
