Great sandy beach. Ideal for swimming and sandcastles. The sand does shelve away quite steeply so perhaps not the safest for paddling. Free on the road. You may even spot the odd seal in the water too. Public loos and cafe plus fish and chip nearby . The town isn't particularly scenic but the is great. No seaside resort but a great sandy with all the necessary amenities. A food store, toilets, ice cream and a chippy Beautiful alough this was on a very cold windy day What a lovely to visit. A hidden gem. Free on the road which is right beside the beach. Easy access to the via steps or slope. Clean flat to walk along. Highly recommend a visit. Toilets and a cafe nearby. The is very clean and beautiful. We always have a wonderful time there. Lovely clean beach, free along the front and an ice cream van. What more could you want? Nice sea view along the sea wall and promenade, which is free of charge. In the peak season you need to get there early to get a good spot. There’s good clean public toilets opposite the beautiful sandy and a well stocked local store with reasonable prices. There’s a pub close by and a fish and chip for food. Watching the sea, the gulls and other birds plus the line of cargo and tanker ships heading up and down the North Sea is so relaxing. It’s a great for a family day out. One of my favourite places for a cuppa in my camper. Dog friendly beach. Nice place to walk. Free next to beach. Great Norfolk beach! Visited today before heading home, along seafront is free, access to is via slope like all the other beaches in the area we've been to BUT a little easier to navigate for disabled/less abled people. Great to see quality and useful services available, toilets, defibrillator, cafe, fish and chips, well supplies etc. You can tell that the area is well thought of and looked after. One of the best in North Norfolk. Lovely beach, good facilities. Luckily for us only 10 minutes in the car. Great all round, we love winter walks here to blow the cobwebs away! A lovely big beach. First time visit for us. Our dog was able to walk along the lovely flat sand and paddle in the sea. There is lots of along the seafront too. We enjoyed lovely chips from the kingfisher restaurant too. Absolutely wonderful fine sandy turn left and it’s touristy turn right and keep going and in April you practically have the to your self ! Wonderful . Cautions as a dog owner odd seal lounging behind the breakers to be aware of and we encountered a couple of horse riders who thundered past us in full gallop , with the noise of the ocean and the breakers running parallel to the sea and the speed they came it was impossible to get any warning . Fortunately for them and us our dogs were brought up around horses but worth mentioning. An old fashion beach, just what you need. Plenty of dog walkers, people talking a stroll of families playing games together. There isn’t any distractions, which is perfect when you want to enjoy nature. The is sandy and a few pebbles/stones. The sea was quite wavy, which was mesmerising. There is a local shop, fish and chip as well as an ice cream parlour. Just what you need for a trip to the beach.
