Dogs allowed signs say they aren't but there was also a sign saying that ran out on 1st May 2024 and they are applying to review it (as of 16th August 2024). Beach quite busy unless you walk down a long way from the entrance. Safe to swim and the bit for paddleboard etc is the other side of the beach. I prefer Brancaster of an evening as its quieter. Car park were a nightmare to pay for. We stayed in Sea Palling the 2nd week of September and were very lucky to have 6 out of 7 sunny days! I have to review this absolutely stunning and clean beach. We holiday all over the UK and we were blown away with the cleanliness of this and surrounding beaches. We watched the brave locals swimming every morning - so that's a good indicator too! There are good clean toilets just off the beach, a friendly local pub, a couple of good little cafés and a wonderful ice cream shop! We will definitely be returning soon. Lifeguards on duty sith flags showing safe place. Shops and cafes nearby. There were a few jellyfish, which discouraged some from swimming. Easy walking along the steps, even when the tids is high. Very but is NOT dog friendly in the summer so we only stood having a look. It looked like there might be a bit you could walk on with a dog (the concrete steps in the second photo), but I’m not sure. With a small cafe attached to it- a place but it’s not massive so expect it to be full on busy summer days - parking is chargeable and can be paid by phone or card. The is lovely and clean, lots of sand, and lovely dunes that are home to many animals Worth a visit, the people who own/run the cafe and amusements seemed very and friendly 😃 Sea Palling is dog friendly to the right hand side all year round but not in the summer months if you turn left when approaching from over the hill. There are places to eat and toilets. The itself is usually clean and has a few patches of pebbles but mostly sand. Very beach. Parking close to the beach, reasonably priced too. and clean. Not overcrowded. Recommend Absolute gem of a place walk your dogs for miles on the unspoiled beach. Car park very reasonable at £1.50 per hour then when you've finished walking enjoy a drink and a snack at one of the cafes next to the car park.
