Really quite a pretty park with nice water features and the big sea dike nearby. Some parts were really nice and well maintained 🐾😃👍 meanwhile others felt a bit less used and abandoned 🫣 lots of different insects 🦋🦗 as well as mosquitoes 🦟😬 had a great time visiting once 🙏😊 Amazing place to jog and train, or just go for a walk. Nice, quiet stopover place. You could probably camp here if that was allowed. If you know what I mean ;0) Urk is a beautiful city, nice beach, harbour, lighthouse, nature, .... Great accomodation for large families or groups of people. There was a shower in most rooms and a communal one in the shared hallway. There is one large living area, which offers room for the dining area, living area and a large kitchen. The windows offered a good view of the surroundings. Nothing that would stop you to keep looking, but also not ugly. The accomodation offers visitors a lovely chance to visit the picturesque village of Urk. Plenty to do and see. Also, you'll find some quite nice restaurants, especially if yo're willing to go off the beaten track. For larger (family) groups, there's simply no alternative than to stay here.
