The themed atmosphere, extensive play areas, and delicious pancakes make it a worthwhile visit. Booking in advance is crucial, especially for indoor seating. Reservations are essential, especially for indoor tables. The playground is accessible to everyone, even without dining at the restaurant. Expect crowds during peak season. Plan for at least 2-3 hours to fully enjoy the experience. It's Efteling meets pancake house. The whole place is beautifully decorated with lots of fairy tale details that make it feel special, especially for kids. Amazing outing place for kids (adults as well). With no doubt, one of the most magical places for children and grownups!! The attraction is big. The castle is a little bit spooky. Wonderful experience, but almost undescribable... It's Efteling meets pancake house. Very fun for kids, but also adults enjoy. Big thematic playground outside, but also inside enough to explore and experience. And let's not forget, the food is very very for quite a reasonable price. Be sure to make reservations, because this will be necessary, especially for a inside. Free parking. Highly recommended!! You definitely need to make reservation to come here. You're given a 2hr reservation which honestly isn't long enough! There's just SO much to do for and for them to explore I'd recommend bringing a towel/change of clothes when the water is being used. Food is reasonably priced but did take 50 mins from ordering. Drinks were super quick. During summer, lots of wasps but they do have their their own spray. Toilets are incredible and generally it's just SO much fun. Dogs are welcome (on leads). Kids get a coin to get sweets from the giant lollypop. Parking is free and a few mins walk from the entrance. We visited Hans & Grietje Pancake House in Zeewolde and had a really lovely time. The whole place is beautifully decorated with lots of fairy tale details that make it feel special, especially for kids. One of the fun surprises was the moving tables, it definitely made the meal more entertaining and gave us a few laughs. The pancakes were really good, with plenty of sweet and savory options to choose from. The portions were generous and the presentation was fun too, perfect for a family outing. The witch house area and all other areas had a bit of a spooky vibe, but in a fun way that the enjoyed. And the outdoor playground was a huge hit, it’s spacious and full of different things to climb, slide, and play on. One thing that’s great to know is that you don’t have to eat at the pancake house to use the playground, it’s open for anyone, which makes it a nice stop even if you’re just looking for a place for the to play. Overall, it’s a fun place for families with younger children. Between the playful atmosphere, food, and big playground, we were all happy we went. It is made to have a great with your kids. Portions are big, food is tasty, interieur and exterior are beautiful! I was impressed with outside playground, we planned 1 hour before dinner to play, but that was definitely not enough, and we stayed 2 more hours after dinner and we didn't want to go home. We had a in the hall with moving tables, but other rooms were also impressive. We booked our two weeks in advance and we absolutely loved our visit. Next we are in the neighbourhood, we'll definitely come again. Amazing outing place for (adults as well) built around the characters Hans & Gretel. Apart from their fantastic pan cakes, desserts, there is so much of fun can have both inside the restaurant as well as outside👍👌 Great place to visit with kids. We went there during summer holidays and the park and restaurant was crowded. The had a and enjoyed a lot. The installations are and clean and the park is well taken care off. The pancakes were not that great as you should expect from a professional Dutch pancake house, so for me not a 5 star rating but everything else was clean and organised with friendly staff. With no doubt, one of the most magical places for children and grownups!! You can easily spend 2-3 hours, recommended to reserve a table. We sat at the terrace, it was a beautiful weather so it turned up really nice. There so many things to do for the kids!! I think it can easily suit to up to 12 years old The food is also good, big dishes!! Tasty pannekoeken!! The pancakes were certainly delicious, and the menu offered a lot of variety. The food was prepared with care, and the presentation was lovely. The staff were very attentive and provided excellent service throughout the meal. It was a very pleasant experience, especially with the wonderful play area for the children. What was once a nice familiar place became the incarnation of greed during Christmas time. Got charged 15€ per person to get inside without table. Christmas market had 1 stand with “handmade” toys, a lot of empty stands and the rest were selling plastic toys and food nothing related to the season. Inside, half of the tables were empty but the lady said everything was reserved and sent us to the most distant corner outside where they had heaters far away from all the tables, almost no light, and poor service. The artificial ice ring is just a plastic floor ring so dirty that you can’t even slide. Full with running with shoes on and techno music hurting everyone’s ears. Terrible. My 7-year-old son said: "The attraction is big. The castle is a little bit spooky. We sat at an outdoor table, and there were quite many bees around when we were eating, although the restaurant provided bee spray (?) to us but it is still quite annoying (so that we had to eat fast and didn't really enjoy the food and there). The bike was so fun so I spent 1.5 hours there! The jumping "spheres" were very fun too." The atmosphere at this place is amazing. It was super busy but they still managed to seat us and they gave us ample for drinks and food. There is always something happening inside like a multiple story slide or the occasional moving ceiling. Outside there is a massive play area that is great for for all ages.
