Very nice place for a quick break on the way from Vilnius to Klaipeda. It is a bit noisy due to passing traffic, but that is well and truly made up by the very nice and well-prepared food. And about the food, the portions are enough to feed half an orphanage, I am a big eater, but we couldn't finish all of it. Prices are spectacularly low for what's on offer! There's also a small children's playground. Very delicious food. The soups taste just like homemade. The kids really enjoyed the cold beet soup (šaltibarščiai). The potatoes were especially tasty. And of course, the incredibly fresh and flavorful tree cake (šakotis) was exceptional — we probably have never tasted one this fresh and delicious before. Thank you very much! There is a clean restroom, a parking lot for cars, and outdoor tables. Inside, there's a cozy atmosphere with music playing and a TV. This place was a pleasant surprise. Place is not fancy, quote beasic, but all you need interior wise, but... Fast and pleasant service and best of all - food. It was nice home food, prepared with attention and live, not just to feed the crowd passing by. This is going to be my stop for meal when going towards seaside. Stop and try yourself. If you have no expectations, you may be very pleasantly suprised. A good place for lunch on the way to Šauli coming from Poland, because it is on the side of the road. The food and the atmosphere were very good, but we were disappointed that the staff were very bad at communicating in other languages, but at least they tried to understand us I ordered pasta & chicken. The pasta didn’t have a gram of salt and the chicken was cut so unevenly, that some bites were completely dry and some were close to raw. There appeared to be a sauce on the pasta, which was there just for the looks i guess, becauss it also didn’t have any taste. Also i had to wait 45 minutes for this and the only reason u finished my plate was because i hadn’t eaten all day. Overall i do not recommend this place P.S. The staff wasn’t wery nice :/ Im a local traveling to a vacation and often stop here. The food and service don't disappoint! (I have a hunch that they slay the chickens on display when you place an order related to it, but I can't prove it yet... Can you?)
