Staff were unbelievably helpful, educational and informative. This is a place for good connoisseur watching them cook over open wood burning stove and the aromas were incredible. Cheese plate, truffle pasta, salads and bread were phenomenal. Medium friendly and maybe overevaluated spot. First impression starts with a view of a bunch of waiters grouping and chatting with each other. In general the personnel members are not very polite with other guests than their own, not too attentive, but instead evaluating the visitors by their possible final receipt and tip. Our own waiter Daniele, however, seemed not like that. He was nice and quite professional. Our order was waited not for long and came up well done and tasty. Olive oil could should be "extra virgin", but cutting cost would probably not make it happen. I would recommend this traditional place for a visit. But be ready to sit at the worst table if you are just a casual guest not wearing fancy outfit. We ate here 3–4 times for lunch and enjoyed every visit. The restaurant serves delicious traditional Croatian food. It has a warm, homey feeling, and the quiet, local atmosphere made us feel very comfortable. The staff were always friendly and welcoming. For starters, we had some fantastic home-made prosciutto and nice St. Jacques. Then there was a fabulous buzzara with scampi from Kvarner, paired with a nice malvazija. A great experience, with a very helpful and friendly waiting staff. The service and food quality were excellent. Due to time constraints, we requested the quickest available option. Although the recommended meal was stated to be ready within 5 minutes, there was a 15-minute delay. The establishment graciously provided complimentary drinks as an apology. Special commendation is deserved for waiter Daniele.
