The Black Forest Suspension is one of the longest pedestrian suspension bridges in Germany — 450 meters long and hanging 120 meters above the ground! It gently sways as you walk, especially with a crowd, making it both thrilling and unforgettable. From the top, you get stunning panoramic of the forest — and on a clear day, you can even spot the Todtnau shimmering like a silver ribbon in the distance. There’s also a separate hiking trail that takes you right down to the waterfall. Along the way, you pass several cascading levels, getting closer and closer until you can feel the cool mist on your face and hear the roar of the water up close. Suspension bridges and glass paths are definitely on my must-do list — and this spot is the perfect mix of adventure, nature, and pure wow-factor. A real escape from the everyday. This was a lovely experience. We felt safe on the and got a wonderful view across the countryside and over the waterfall. There are clean toilets to use. They are chargeable but you do get to use the toilet once if you buy a ticket for the walk or bridge. Parking was easy to find but it was a pretty rainy day. The offers a stunning view and is a prime spot for photography, though it's a bit shaky, which might not suit everyone. I didn't have the opportunity to hike down on the other side during this visit, but I'm definitely planning to explore it next time. For those who appreciate a scenic view and don't mind a bit of sway, this spot is definitely worth a visit! Great of the valley and top of the waterfall. was wobblier than expected, but not a big issue. Access to the top of the both ends. Hello All, The Blackforestline suspension in Germany is a thrilling spot for nature lovers. Stretching 380 meters over a scenic Black Forest valley, it offers stunning and a bit of an adrenaline rush. Perfect for photos and a unique walk, it’s a must-visit if you’re in the area! We were blessed with blue sky and sunshine when crossing the suspension bridge. Lovely of the and all around. Luckily it wasn't too busy on Friday afternoon so we could take our time, enjoy the view and take pictures. If you never get to go to the Himalayas and cross their lovely suspension bridges (for free 😉 ) this is the best alternative. Highly recommend to experience the feeling 💗 Fun to hike over, beautiful of and valley. If you are afraid of heights it is not recommended, the is transparent and wobbles. The price is relatively high for the short walk across the bridge, but worth it for the experience Beautiful panoramic of the forest! It gently sways as you walk, especially when there is a crowd. There is also a separate hiking trail that leads you right down to the waterfall.
