Great stop for sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean with the historic Classiebawn Castle perched on the nearby hill. On a beautiful, sunny day, this was a gorgeous waterfront stop. The climb down to the rocky shorefront was fairly easy. Not too many folks during our short visit. Parking was on the street not far away from the viewpoint area. Beautiful!! Privately owned so not open to the public. This place was stunningly beautiful. We came across it by mistake and wow what a treat we had. We witnessed a pod of Orcas swimming close to the cliffs idea. It's a fantastic place to visit if you are close to Bundoran or Sligo. It is privately owned, so you can only view from afar, but it's worth it for the photos and experience of seeing it exactly as it's been for hundreds of years. Such beautiful landscape & view One of the best photo opportunities in the country No parking but plenty of space to park on the side of the road. There's a sizeable field to roam around from this vantage point with views of the castle and nearby coast/cliffs. This is a beautiful part of Sligo. There are cool rock formations, Dolphins jumping and Whales breaking the surface, it's a lovely place to spend an hour. We should have brought a picnic.
