But you’ll also get pictures, nice swimming/jumping spots along the way and a nice (Slovenian home made) drink afterwards! The instructors are very competent and easy going! 10/10 would recommend. Very disappointing due to the extremely rude behavior of the guide. We were peacefully fishing when the canoe arrived at our spot. There was no greeting or acknowledgment—just complete disregard for our presence as they took over the area for their planned break. Sharing the river is absolutely fine, but sharing also means showing basic respect and communication. When we politely pointed out that a simple word would have been appreciated, the guide showed no understanding. Instead, she insisted that telling her loudly—clearly for us to overhear—that it’s just a five-minute break doesn’t require any more courtesy. What made it even clearer that this behavior was unnecessary was the next canoe group, from a different company, that arrived about 10 minutes later. They simply stopped for their break around 10 meters upstream—no conflict, no problem. In our view, that’s how respectful coexistence works. Unfortunately, the first guide showed neither consideration nor professionalism. We rent bikes, and the lady was very kind and helpful, 100% recommended ! Highly recommended for everyone, the instructors are invaluable and you receive photos from the trip at the end :) We had the easy of 3 hours. The was beautiful and the were great.
