Wonderful experience, a must-see for every child (and adult) that wants to know about our way of life in the most difficult of times Was a lovely museum and personally I think it has unique touche to it. I absolutely loved it. I would suggest making a whole day here as nice open space for kids to play in open as well. War museums in the Netherlands are usually great, and this one's not the exception. The D Dex experience wasn't suitable for our 3 year old, but we took it in turns to go around. It took you from the docks in England to the D Day beaches. The artefacts were well laid out and there was so much military equipment to see. An impressive crashed Lancaster was laid out for you to see and was complemented by an augmented reality device on your phone. The videos were brilliant and it told the story of the Second World War well. The cafe was stunning too. The only thing I would have liked to have bought would have been a guide book telling me more about Overloon and the items on display. Absolutely loved it. A great selection of WW2 equipment, vehicles and aircraft on display. Phenomenal D-Day show. A great visit you will not be disappointed. Lots of exhibits. So that's a plus.
