Such a place! Food was excellent and the staff were so kind. Loved the sweet kitty named Grace and all the chickens around. Looking forward to coming back on a nice and enjoying their beautiful outdoor area. Mam & I came across Murphy's Barn when we were out for a drive & in need of a cuppa. Located just off the main road to Wellington Bridge on the site of an old farm this is a beautiful, tranquil place to visit. So much love has been put into the renovation & restoration of this old farmhouse/ barn along with the beautiful plants & flowers in the parking area and entrances. There is a warm, welcoming feeling when you walk in the main door. You then take a few steps down to another area where you can choose from a wide range of homemade cakes and hot drinks- you place your order & then take a seat. From here you move back up the stairs & either sit outside or up a few more steps to a large seating area. This area is wide & bright with sky lights in the roof, a number of windows & also doors to the rear garden & to the carpark. On our visit we were advised that they'd recently hosted a small wedding which was evident by the beautiful decorations on the gable wall & the fair lights in the eves of the roof. There was a cute little table & chairs that was set up for any children that visited. I ordered a mocha & apple tart & mam had a latte and scone. Both came well presented and were absolutely delicious. Mam's already talking about her next visit where she'll pick a bright, sunny day & bring my dad & Marley 🐕 & we'll all sit in the garden. Such a fabulous spot - just popped in for a bite to eat and it’s beautiful with everything from a goat, hen, ducks and a dog wandering around! Beautiful views with quirky seating outside and really high quality food. Staff were too! A total gem of a spot Absolutely gorgeous zen vibes, always drive by this place as I live down the newline and kept telling the girls we need to go there, we will definitely be coming back! Best toasties I’ve ever tasted! is unreal, huge cake selection that I didn’t have space in my tummy to try ☕️🤓 really staff and animals are always a bonus One of the nicest places to have coffee. You get to see the farm animals and the owner is super nice. It feels like a spiritual place. Stopped in for lunch on the way back from Kilmore beach, Very relaxing good and sandwiches. If you like cheesecake your in for a treat,, loads of different flavours...and the wildlife is just great you won't regret a visit never mind the great views are great too...👍👍👍👍👍 What staff too...thank you Absolutely place to go for and amazing pastries. And the ladies there could not be more welcoming Brilliant place to go. Some animals roaming around and all the cakes and scones you could want. Just like being at home with mammy or granny. Enjoyed the afternoon with a bowl of soup and a toasted sandwich. Very friendly Such a place … always looks great specially now with their Easter decorations…. Tasty sweet and savoury treats and a great cup of tea. I’m a big tea head and I love the fact they bring a large pot of tea with a large pot of hot water … which is prefect for a big tea drinker .. It a relaxed place with animal like cats , dogs, hens duck extra all just pottering about around the tables which is just so nice … In the summer the view and out spaces are just .. I highly recommend going for a lunch of afternoon coffee. .. you can pick up some local crafts… Love the place! Their cheese cake is so good. And what make it better is that there is a little cute baby goat at the back. If I'm not going back for the food, I will still go back for the goat! Hahaha, but this place will be my regular place for cheese cake now. Absolutely love it! The last place in the south east where you can get a proper ham sandwich. A must stop for any excuse. The view is out of this world too A++++ Great spot for a place for a and cake… Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
