Morriscastle Beach

Kilmuckridge, Ireland Beach

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. A spectacular bit of sandy coast, plenty of high dunes and brilliant for dogs. The is popular and many people walk the mile or so on either side of the roadway into it. There are fewer people who go further than the mile although there is nothing to impede progress other than a few small streams! This is an ideal spot for a full day at the beach. Has a carpark with decent public toilets. Right beside them there's a shop, cafe, coffee truck and chipper. And there are lifeguards on part of the day. Although it always feels quite safe in the water here. Doesn't get steep fast. If you visit - stop by Kilmuckridge on the way home. Great little food trucks in the village. Pizza at Bella Napoli maybe. I live in the area and it's an excellent sandy blue flag beach. A must visit if you are in the area. Visitors are generally very respectful and don't leave rubbish on the beach. Excellent car park with toilets located here and don't forget to visit to visit Lawlers for a big of chips and an ice cream. One of the nicest beaches I've been on. Love the board walk up to the beach, makes it much easier for buggys and wheelchairs. Has big dunnes to run up and down aswell for kids. Has a life gaurd all day. The sea is lovely. Its kinda stoney but its fine. Really clean aswell no rubbish anywhere and there's a shower hose, as you walk out of the too. Which is handy to rinse off. Carpark was small enough but a minute back the road there was a field opened up for parking. Plenty of room. Clean toilets and outdoor shower in the carpark. Disabled parking and wheelchair available on request for free. The was beautiful, busy but plenty of room as it goes on forever. Lifeguards on duty so was safe for swimming. If you need a supermarket, coffee, chips or pizza (both 😁), buckets and spades or wetsuits etc, all available beside the carpark. Recycling bins beside the toilets. Was very popular with dog owners. Couldn't ask for more except for some people who couldn't leave the place as clean as they found it. Thankfully, in the minority!!! Great place , nice and clean would be great on a summer’s day From Perth WA so love the The situation is getting worse every day. People hold parties and barbecues but leave their rubbish behind. Fishermen also contribute by littering the area, and sadly, dead animals are being found more frequently. Easily one of the best beaches I have been to in Ireland. There is a boardwalk leading onto which makes it easier if you have a buggy. The sand is beautiful, the water is fab with some nice waves if your kids are body boarding. Presence of lifeguards very reassuring too. Coffee shop, parking etc. all great 🙌 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
