The place looks nice, I only have seen the outside, which is a full-stone area with no greens but otherwise pleasing with sunshades, both large and small tables in various size. The service was friendly. I have got a truly excellent "Grilled port neck", I dare to say it was the best I've seen for a long time now. 6/5. :-) But we were not that lucky with the thai vegetable paste with was lacking both vegetables and thai. And due to lack of fish sauce some thai food also was not available, but they probably couldn't help it, so it's okay. Overall I recommend trying, even if it's a bit pricey the food is good and the portions are large. We had a lunch with friends, everything was delicious, the food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful servers. We highly recommend it. We only had a meal in the restaurant. It was very clean , very nicely set out. Great food and great service. Certainly a place to revisit! The Cordon Bleu (called Grabensia szelet here) was especially good. Kifogástalan kiszolgálás, amelyhez mosoly és figyelmesség is társul. Már a második alkalommal úgy fogadtak bennünket mintha legalább platina kártyás törzsvendégek lennénk. A konyha fantasztikus ízeket varázsolt az asztalunkra legyen az egészséges kecskesajtos saláta vagy egy még egészségesebb (😁) marhapörkölt amely mellé tejmentes bármilyen köret kérhető köszönhetően a rugalmas, kedves szakácsnak. Ritkán járunk erre de ha legközelebb jövünk csak az Ambrus Apát Fogadó! The place and environment are both wonderful. The Buddhist garden is appealing. Lovely animals, great Japanese Bath. There was this funnily dressed monk-like critter who reprimanded an odd 30 crowd of adult visitors in the sound chamber for their children's impertinent behaviour who had the cheek to sound some of the instruments. Now, that was disappointing to say the least. Oh, and it also ruined our pensive mood. We feel such a place does not deserve such mentality. So four stars instead of five. Three of us had late lunch there on a Monday, perhaps not the best choice if you are looking for great food... the soups were OK, the main courses' side dishes must have been mixed up, and all three were lukewarm at best. But we were hungry... However, ... I must add that we were talking in English - because of my English husband - but 2 of us did talk in Hungarian as well. The bill was presented to my husband, who glanced at it , felt it was a bit high, but never thought about it twice until the evening when we had a proper look at this bill - only to find that we had been overcharged 8280 Ft!
