The location is in the forest and the view is superb. We decided to stay here because of its location very close to the 7 Rila lakes hike and chairlift. The staff was very nice and friendly, even though they didn't speak English, we managed to understand each other using Google Translate :). Breakfast was very delicious. The room was a bit small (we hardly managed to accommodate 2 suitcases) but clean and cozy, and the bed was comfortable. There was a good quality service versus a very reasonable price - the villa and the rooms look very well and the location is superb. The WiFi in the reception area was good, but in the room was very bad. Huge Thank you to the owners and staff at Villa Ema. You made our 25th anniversary so memorable, yet restful. It was exactly what we needed to get away for a few days. The breakfast was fantastic, Dinner at your restaurant was delicious. But even more, thank you for packing us a special lunch to take with us on our hike to Rila Lakes! We definitely recommend this place for their excellent hospitality, clean and comfy rooms, and great Bulgarian food. I had to make the reservation by phone, which made me a bit concerned and wondered if we'd have the room when we arrive (overbooking is always a possibility). So I gave them another call a week before the arrival and everything was fine. The room was clean and cozy, the food at the restaurant was delicious and very affordable. The staff was very friendly and met all our needs. The area is quiet and perfect for relaxing. Yes, the Wi-Fi is bad, but the mobile internet still worked perfectly so it wasn't an issue. Amazing place, very beautiful and practical room and generous hospitality! They helped us a lot upon some additional needs we had. They also lent walking sticks for the Rila lakes in case you don't have. Excellent and rich breakfast both salty and sweet A beautiful place with very kind and well-organized staff.
