Expensive meals with small portions, unfriendly staff (apart from a young woman at the reception). It is better to come with your tent than to sleep here. place for a night's sleep after a long day hiking. Lot of options for meals. The only downside is that the place is a bit rundown and should probably be better maintained considering the number of staff. We also had some impolite Israeli guests (as usual) but that's not their fault. Great place to stay in the mountains – the sleeping conditions were very comfortable, and the food selection was impressive and really tasty. The staff was helpful and made everything easy. A solid choice for hikers looking for both rest and meals. The overall experience was not so good. The crew didn’t seem to want to help with anything and doesn’t communicate much. They misled us to think that the price includes breakfast and when we went to eat they tried to charge extra (miscommunication - breakfast is included only in the premium room and they didn’t specify that). On the other hand the view is nice, the facilities are quite good. Bit strange people working there, they want you to pay extra for using the toilet despite buying coffee there. Actually my destination was another hut, but the weather got bad so I had to improvise. I was the only guest. The staff was absolutely unfriendly and unprofessional. I believe some of them were drunk. Hadn’t I talked a little bit Italian no conversation would have been possible. The room where you eat is almost dark. Sometimes nobody was there at all. I felt highly uncomfortable. In any case I chose the two bed room which is really expensive given for what you get. Positive: the bed was comfortable, the location ist stunning. But that’s about it. Outside restaurant operates with no associated toilet and you have to go around the building to pay 1lev to use poor condition toilet.... how they allow them to operate without sanitary unit??
