Beside of this - smoking in the hut??? I am a smoker and in my opinion this is not good at all. The place is good for a one night stay. The place is nice, has an interesting spirit, the surrounding nature is beautiful, its positive they speak English. They have camp place, and shower (shared) We slept in the main building (downstairs with the triple bunkbeds) the bed was disaster uncomfortable, I slept terribly. Good for a weekend hike, but for long distance hiking its not the best choice if you want a relaxing night. Such a great experience to stay in the middle of the forest. We came in May and there was still lots of snow, so come prepared! A couple of things to note - the hut is about a 40 min hike from the nearest car park at Rila Chair Lift. Was worth it for the beautiful views. The place is very rustic, Boris is a great host who will make sure you are comfortable, even if you don't speak the same language. Also they do smoke in the hut, very old school, just so you are aware! The host was so nice . Its a serene hut in the middle of the forest. Really good, calm and affordable place in the middle of the forest, close to the chairlift and the beautiful 7 lakes. I spent three nights there. Boris and his colleague was always there to help me with everything I needed. Delicious breakfast and food service available all day! The place is beautiful and super cozy. It is next to a river and also has a shower and Wi-Fi. The hosts are super kind and nice and helps with everything they can. The food is amazing, best meal we had in Bulgary by far. It was cooked by the hosts, who will cook for you whatever time you want. The price was more than fair for the meal. Amazing place in beautiful location!🤯 The staff are so nice and kind!!
