Stameriena castle

One of the Best Places To Visits in Vecstāmeriena Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Great structure and very interesting exposition. Today (August 23rd) there is also an italo-lettonian event ! A small jewel Highly reccomend to visit this castle and spend some time exploring it. Although is may not have retained a lot of authentic and original interior elements, it still has a very good livable feel to it. You can sit down in some of its rooms, enjoy amazing views outside of windows or balconies and explore 70+ rooms. Stāmeriena is built as neorenesanse style palace. After nice walk in the park you can rest under the “oak of love”. Entrance fee 6 eur. The offers beautiful art exhibitions. It's worth visiting! A beautiful manor with renovated facade and interior that shows a little bit of all the things that happened during its history. A guide can tell about the history of the manor and the people associated with it. Beautiful park and lake nearby. Great White Manor! This is the legacy of the Counts Wolff. The interior needs further restoration, but even now it makes a huge impression with its unique aura.. VISIT HERE IF YOU CAN. I can't tell you how much I love this place. This is the coziest, warmest, most beautiful (former) living space I've seen. The castle still feels alive today, and staff are very friendly. I could stay here forever. Prices are democratic, both for the tickets and souvenirs. You can have coffee and chocolates in the tea room (1.50€ for a coffee and 0.25€ for a chocolate), using the fancy historic cups. There are conversation cards in a couple rooms that you can play with, and a chess table you can use. It is possible to step out on the balconies and also to climb the tower, at least partially. Garden has picnic tables and a swing for children. Everything is just...chefs kiss. Absolutely loved this place, and I recommend it to everyone! The building is simply charming, both outside and inside. From the outside, it’s beautifully renovated and honestly looks like a miniature Latvian version of a Disney castle, so picturesque. Inside, the has been kept in a raw yet well-maintained state, and that’s what makes it even more special. The untouched interior adds real character and atmosphere, you feel the history without it being overly polished. What makes Stāmeriena truly stand out is the freedom it gives visitors. Unlike most castles and museums where you're constantly told "don’t sit," "don’t touch," and watched by grumpy staff, here you can actually relax and enjoy the space. You’re welcome to sit wherever you like, explore at your own pace, and even play the musical instruments around - such a refreshing and rare approach! As a musician, I personally loved being able to play the instruments without being told off, in most places it’s always “do not touch”. The lady at the entrance was also very kind and welcoming, it makes such a difference. Another thoughtful touch: there are little table games left around the for visitors to enjoy. If I had more time, I would’ve gladly spent the entire day just hanging out there. Also the mini coffee corner set up in one of the rooms is such a lovely idea! The beautiful vintage cup and servant collection adds charm and makes you feel like a guest, not just a visitor. All in all, an absolute must visit! This is a hidden gem of Latvia and deserves way more attention. Can’t wait to go back ❤️ Very cozy and well kept palace! Friendly staff and a cute cafe! Absolutely loved it ❤️❤️ Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
