However, despite it not being too busy (workday, 3pm), we were not offered menus until 20 minutes in. There was an air conditioning unit that blew freezing air at us, so we had to ask them to adjust it. We were able to order about 35 minutes in. Our orders came, and we were told that a part of the order - a side of plain rice - would arrive in a bit. We had already finished eating, but no sign of that rice. It was time for us to pay and leave, but we received no acknowledgement about the missing rice. Overall a slightly unpleasant experience, but the food - somewhat - made up for it. I did like this place - Latvian traditional food - classic “karbonāde” (schnitzel) with baked potatoes were great. Filled cottage cheese pancakes with strawberry sauce were also very yummy. We arrived hungry but even that did not help and we spent a good amount of time on the very huge menu. Everything seemed so tasty and it definitely was! We were a company of three and ordered different dishes plus dessert and took a left overs in the box. Everything was amazingly delicious!
