What an honour to sit on a couch in a small and beautiful setting with 40’or 50 other people listening to the Dustin O’Halloran chatting to us and playing some of his best pieces on the piano. The Set Theatre has atmosphere, loads of space, seated and standing and of course the bar. What else do you need but good entertainment, which the Set always provides. Recent new sound system installation has improved sound in theatre, particularly to circle/first floor. Linked to Langton's hotel with restaurant and bars. It's a lovely and intimate venue, in a location. We had bought tickets to a rock concert here, and by the time the concert was to take place, one of our party was heavily pregnant. Emailed the about possible seating, and Stephen the manager was very quick to respond, reassuring us that he would reserve us seats, and would be at hand to meet us on the day. True to his word, he greeted us at the door and escorted us to some choice seats (with easy access to the toilets!), he even had some earplugs on hand.
