The service here is very good! We got a couple's universal membership and got a discount because my wife works in Glanbia. Word of advice: make sure you book your spot ahead on weekends. I used to be a member here for 4 years around 7 years ago. I remember the gym being pretty well maintained. Now, the majority of it looks like it has been salvaged from a scrap yard. The few new pieces of equipment that i saw were all cheap or poor quailty. Yeah, you can say things are old. I think this place was built around 2010. But it's just pure maintenance, a little w40 every month. New pads every 6 months and deep clean costs a few hundred € at most. And it would make a world of difference. In conclusion, I'm sad to see this place fall down so much and would recommend any other gym in kilkenny. Disgusting place hairs everywhere in the shower cabin,in changing cabins,lockers,sauna,steam sauna, etc... horrible Nowhere to hang your towel around the pool or saunas, no watch in the area to control your time inside, absolutely hated there every time !! No choice still visiting with my little son despite the facts....staff is very nice though!!! Not happy with the 25% price increase in the name of inflation. It's already difficult to survive. With this price rise, it will be difficult to stay healthy as well apart from just feeding ourselves. The changing facilities , showers and toilets need a refresh especially the cleanliness / hygiene. Disappointed with Misinformation I’m extremely disappointed with the service at the watershed. I visited to use the sauna, However, when I arrived at 5pm, I was told the closed at 5pm.i know from previous experience that the usually closes at 5:30pm on a Saturday I confirmed with a member of at the reception that the closes at 5:30pm today not 5pm this was a complete waste of my time and effort. It’s clear the needs better training to provide accurate information. Miscommunication like this shows a lack of professionalism and respect for customers' time. Great place for indoor sports, well maintained Well run Used to be good value for money but they’ve increased gym and pool prices, again. This time adding €2 onto pay as you go options (almost a 30% increase on off peak prices!). Wouldn’t be as bad if they actually improved the quality of the place but the gym is dilapidated with some equipment falling apart and toilets/changing areas in both the gym and pool are always dirty (as many other reviewers have also pointed out). Cant understand how the management feel they are entitled to consistently raise prices given that the quality seems to be getting worse every year. This facility is partly funded by the taxpayer and should do much better to help the community, not squeeze money from them. it' wasn't too long ago an off peak swim was under €5.. now it's €9 Gave them over 24 hours notice that I couldn't fulfil a 5 aside booking. No refund despite the notice, very poor customer service considering I tried to give them notice. Would understand if I'd canceled on the day.
