It is an OK place to introduce the farmers live and some old-fashion industries to the children. The toys museum is another interesting place to visit and the little trains on the top floor are really impressive. The small trains show runs 3 times a day and it is included to the ticket, I.e. no need to pay additionally. Interesting and worth a visit with kids as well Worth visiting What an amazing place!!! Definitely worth spending the day here! Clean, beautifully presented, full of fascinating facts and information, aswell as artefacts and machinery, old buildings and professions. We took a picnic with us and there are lots of lovely spots to enjoy whilst eating. There are restaurants here but we didn't get to try them. Definitely deserves 5 stars. Nice place, interesting buildings but no English explanations. My German isn't so good so English info would have been very much appreciated. That's why I give it 3 stars. I felt very good visiting the Christmas Market in this place Very good place to go with kids. Teaches history in a very accessible way. An impressive number of exhibits. Old houses, households, factories. There are also pets and a place for children to play. Very family and kids friendly. I recommend to everyone Lovely experience for parents and young kids. They have arranged several well designed playgrounds to keep the little ones entertained. There are some animals too. You can take a break at a Tante Emma shop / cafe and there is a small restaurant. Staff is very friendly. For adults the individual stops houses of the exhibition are interesting and it is very pleasant to walk around. Best was the rentable Bollerwagen. My daughter loved loved loved it.
