I a Raaks Cargo 28inch Nexus this past weekend. It looks like a really nice for the price (€375). Some things I think can be improved. The customer was not great. The person helping us didn’t really sound he wanted to be there. And when I the there was no setup done on it. The seat and handlebars were skew, the brakes did not line up/work correctly, the gears were not setup and struggled to go into second gear and didn’t even want to go into 3rd gear. A proper setup of the I think is mandatory before it goes out the door. I’ll take it to another to setup the brakes as I’m not confident that Fietshokje would do a sufficient job. Also, your could use some music. It’s really quiet in there 🙂 My wife and I a used and new here. Had a flat tire, went by on Thursday and was told the mechanic is in on Saturday to come back. Came back on Saturday and the guy working inside was so rude, denied me saying they were too busy ( it was 12pm ) even though he told me to come back on Saturday and was completely not helpful and gave me a typical passive aggressive response. I spent over €300 on a brand new bike, which is totally falling apart. I’ve had my for less than a year and the handlebars are completely covered in rust. Not only this, but the handlebar grips have developed some kind of mold/mildew. Within a couple of weeks the back light had stopped working. Front light is super dim, barely illuminating. The bell fell off a few weeks ago. When I took it into the shop, the guy took some pictures of the rust and then I never heard from them again. Avoid this place. I was about to buy a (Raaks) for my daughter here, glad I didn't. While I was waiting for it to be prepared, another customer arrived with a 6-month-old that had a problem with the hydraulic brake system. He asked for assistance, and the employee became defensive, informing him that the warranty only covers the frame. The behaviour put a seed of doubt in my mind, which was confirmed when I asked the clerk to install a ring lock to the bike. The salesperson started to complain, telling me that I should install the ring myself, but as a token of goodwill, they would do it for me at an additional cost. I am glad I ended up asking the guy to put the back. Niet te spreken over deze winkel. Very nice and friendly with a lot of options. My wife ended up finding the perfect for her at a different place, but I would absolutely buy a from here. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly, with a bit selection. Ja die zat er gewoon bij hoor voor een jaar. Je krijgt een gewone kassabon met niets erop staan van een garantie. Nog geen half jaar later is de fiets kapot. En de garantie? Nee die zat er niet op hoor. Beter dus even verder kijken naar een betrouwbare fietsenwinkel dan alleen naar je eigen portemonnee. I could literally not convince him to let me make a purchase and there was not at any time any excuses emanating from this blissfully unaware of the concept of customer care of a salesman.
