Even though we were a large group of 8 people, they found a comfortable table for us. We really enjoyed the sangria and burger. The children's Margherita pizza was simply outstanding. The coffee was also quite good. The service was pleasant. The prices are absolutely reasonable, especially considering the location. Very good service and tasty food. Waiters are friendly and ready to help you. Rib eye and ribs were awesome. If you come to the beach you might probably end up in this restaurant. The food was average, but very well presented. Some plates were good and others were average. Service is well, not the best. { average recommended } The event itself was fantastic, but the venue left a lot to be desired: - You had to pay to use the toilets after entry, which felt unreasonable. - The sinks in the restroom area ran out of water three hours before the event ended — completely unacceptable for hygiene. - Prices were excessive: €6 for 250ml of beer and €4.50 for the same amount of water. - There was no visible EHBO (first aid) area, and staff couldn’t direct anyone to assistance. - Lockers were €12.50 with a €10 deposit, and used outdated key systems instead of more secure, modern options. The venue clearly needs major improvements to match the quality of the event itself. Terrible venue for parties, we went for Verknipt Pulse and had to pay 3€ for toilets (Dixie toilet) with no toilet paper, no water to wash our hands and 12€50 for a small rusty locker. They don’t have drinking water, drinks at the bar were super expensive and small and staff was rude when asked for anything! Had lunch here, because this place is a bit further away from the crowd. Though, the food is not great. The kroketten were too crusty (fried dark), and the hamburger was just over done (it tasted gummy). The waitress reported it back to the chef, but that’s it. Pure taste, but the fries were pretty salty, and the bread was crunchy as well. Either you hate it or love it. The service was quick. Use as this place a lounge? Definitely, it’s cosy! Have lunch or dinner? No, not again. Good service, beautiful view, and delicious spicy pulled chicken sandwich. Ideal if you happen to be in Bloemendaal on the beach and want to grab a bite with a breathtaking view to the sea.
