Toghether with Agapia Monastery formated the bigest comunity of nuns from Europe. I was driving past, looking for a place to stay. My first night in Romania. And it was getting late. The receptionist reminded me of the film the beautiful marygold hotel. And that's the main reason why I stayed! The rooms are good and very clean. Great accommodation. If you also get to serve dinner and breakfast, I would recommend it any day now. Very clean room with a gorgeous view and friendly staff (including Thea, the owner's dog). The restaurant has really good and traditional Romanian food with a very good service and even better views. I liked my experience quite a lot, my room was very clean and tidy, there were many facilities provided. However, some members of the staff were pretty rude and didn't want to help with basic services that they are supposed to provide. My overall experience was a 7,5/10. Very nice place! The bathroom looks horrible, the sink is full of limescale and rust...the mattresses are very uncomfortable...I don't understand how such a location can be considered a three-star guesthouse...I don't recommend staying the night!
