I made a nice painting in front of the Rocca What a brilliant gem of a place. The guided tour with Giovanni clearly not only loved the place but invested much of himself in the history of the place. The little details and his interest made it a fantastic experience. This is a great local day trip. It is fun and unique. A nice walk around the castle and through town. You can walk the narrow stone streets of the town and climb to the castle. Nice Tuscan view there. Dont miss visiting this stunning Castle. The volunteer guides are incredibly knowledgeable on the history of the castle an region and the significance of Vicopisano in history.
