It was but they had a couple of boxes for donations throughout. We had no idea Piaggio had some many brands! We had an excellent english language tour of the museum. You can reserve a day and for a tour ahead of time, but you don't have to purchase tickets ahead of time. Highly recommended. It was so interesting to see the evolution of the vespa over different prototypes that had been created but never scaled for production and the role that it played in various wars. I encourage Piaggio company to expand the product range in the Museum's shop. It is a perfect place for buying their items! An place!! The exhibits are really well placed and there are heaps of them. It is a super fun place to be. Like ourselves, everyone was smiling. There is also the history of Piaggio which was really interesting to learn about as I was totally unaware of all the things the business was involved with over the decades. A place to take the kids or the grandparents. This is up there with the best museums we have been to. It would be worth a Eur10 ticket, but they were only taking donations.
