Then we decided to visit the lake just 5 minutes away. There was a music festival that is traditionally in this part of a year. Kids from all over Croacia were camping and having a good time there... music is an alternative kind of. You can google it anyway. The lake is perfect. Shalow on one part and deep on the opposite. Nature is just breathtaking. I love every moment there...highly recommended.... No entry fee. Parking is 50 cents per hour. The water could be cleaner, otherwise very nice. There are bathrooms, showers, playgrounds, places to eat, places to drink, accommodation in the area. No lifeguards, but the depth goes gradually from ankle depth to 6 meters, where you may also jump from a small platform. Very nice nature, place to relax, barbecue, swim, meet people. But do not forget to bring money, coins to be exact, many things must be payed, the parking, grill spot, the table, the toilette, so be prepared. Great place for hiking and photo session!!! If in area, please visit this amazing city and amazing lake! Bring your friends and family, fire up that BBQ, set up a tent and enjoy your vikend. Very clean, no fee for a entrance (you just need to pay for a parking spot as usual), there are cafes and restaurants nearby and, oh, try to visit also Ruzica grad if can make all the way to the top. Loved the smart bench too, great thing when in need for a quick phone recharge. Loved it! A manmaid lake above small town in the heart of continental part of Croatia. We love to go there during Ferragosto Jam festival. Every year, there's some new improvement that just adds to the overall positive experience. Best place to spend a few days camping in the woods or right along the lake. No dogs allowed....
