Amazing experience just because of the forest entirelly surrounding the pools. Everything is clean. It was renovated not long ago, maybe in 2020. Dobro zamišljeno, bazeni , kućice , dio za djecu ,pizzeria i restoran- jeli smo mazalice sa mljevenim mesom- predobro a cijene pristupačne i osoblje izuzetno ljubazno. The last time I was at this location was few years ago on my way to Papuk. Back when the location was overgrown and resembled Pripyat. At the very first glance I was impressed by everything I saw and my amazement kept rising up as I looked further. I saw that they still have huge plans and plan to build a hotel on the place on the never-finished one, along with many other attractions that would most definitely attract tourists. So many brilliant ideas and so much investment. What also caught my eye was the stage with "Nina's magic forest" written on it (Nina čarobna Shhhuma). I wondered... who is Nina? I assumed it might be the daughter of the owner, googled it because I was curious. I guessed it right. But what I didn't know shook me to the core. Nikolina/Nina Šutalo was the one who started it all, the founder of this ambitious project. You can find her interviews online in Croatian, she had all the right ideas on how to revive this region and attract tourists. In October 2021, two months before Aquapark's opening, she died in a car crash. She was 24 years old. Her parents, despite experiencing the worst thing that any parent could ever experience, decided to keep her memory alive. While I was reading that on my phone, my 24 years old female friend was right next to me. I never knew Nina, but that thought and connection still disturbs me. Beautiful surroundings in an old forest. Still under some construction, but there is great potential. Aqua park in summer, ice skating in winter. Great place to grab some burgers and forget about worries -actively or just staring into greens Great Waterpark, nice atmosphere and absolutely clean, I would recommend a visit but with one major drawback: The overall service in the restaurants needs to improve. It's not ok to leave guests waiting for half an hour for either another order or to pay. So yep nice park for swimming but wouldn't recommend to sit and eat here. The place is really nice! The kids part is an amazing entertainment for them. Really worth to spend the day there. If will be something bad about it it's 1: the fast food really took us AGES to get and doesn't really worth it. And after spending 6€ enterance for getting a nice place you need to pay 2€ for a seat because doesn't really are much places to put your towels and belongings. Really pleasantly surprised with how they make it. Had two visits there and enjoyed.Great place near Pozega for going and relaxing. Lazy river interesting same as siting in water while drinking cocktails at bar. Affordable place and is equipped with bars, places to eat and relax, high recommend Great & service Pools are brilliant and service was mostly excellent however, the small slim ginger waitress in the drinks section of the 'fast food' cafe at the large pool, I think she was called Ana Maria, has an appalling attitude and anger issues. That she is allowed to interact with customers is shocking. She poured me a and I asked for some milk as well. She told me I needed to go around the corner to order food. No problem. Ordered the food (no queue, was quick), tasted the and it was cold. Not just tepid but cold. Took it back to her and politely mentioned it was cold, to which I received a shocking tirade of bad manners and "but you got it 5 minutes ago" "but you asked for milk and it was from the fridge" to which I politely pointed out yes, but the still shouldn't be like it had bewn in the fridge. At this point she snatched the cup and literally LAUNCHED it at the sink in the corner. exploded over the walls etc and she begrudgingly made another and slammed it on the bench in front of me. Meanwhile, her colleague starts the clean up procedure of the sink and walls. I pity these people having to work with this girl who is like a sulking, bad tempered child. I would suggest anger management, a customer service course and then a barista course at a push. I had zero issue with having the replaced and her lack of knowledge on how to make the coffee. My issue was her appalling attitude. Very sad she is letting the entire team down and expecting her colleagues to clean up her tantrum mess. My favorite place around to go for a swim and just chill out. It is just underneath Papuk so there is a special feeling to it since you're surrounded with hills, as opposed to just being out in the open in he scorching sun. The restaurant has good food and if you just want a hot dog or fries, you can get that at the booth next to the pool. You can also just get a or a refreshing drink at the cafe right next to the pool as well. Whether you are coming in by yourself, with your partner or with your kids too, there is something for everyone. The staff is always polite and I really can't say I had any bad experiences assoicated with going here, on the road, or in the park itself. Highly recommend to check it out, and if you don't like many people, just figure it out and visit on a Monday like I do. A truly awesome water park located in Velika, a small picturesque municipality, the most common entry point to visit Nature Park Papuk. Although I was here during the winter season, there are many places and activities that you can visit and engage in. The most memorable is certainly their Christmas festival, which takes place in the Aquapark area itself and is surrounded by the most stunning nature. In one word, remarkable. Decorated to perfection, with hospitable hosts, lots of small F&B outlets serving local cuisine and wine, and a really cosy restaurant to heat up if you get cold. There are different things to do on a daily basis for people of all ages, from ice skating to live music shows and other events organised throughout the festive period. All in all, it is definitely a must-see place if you find yourself in this region of Croatia any time of the year! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Iznenadila sam se koliko smo uživali u izvrsnoj organizaciji Aquatlona u Velikoj! Izvrsno okruženje, divna priroda i fantastična energija! Super bazeni i tobogani, a dio za djecu je pun pogodak! Već smo upisali datume za sljedeću godinu:)))) Nice, clean not to expensive, has water slides and other features... Prelijepo urededen aquapark sa prelijepim osobljem i vrhunskom higijenom. Odlični tobogani i super mjesto za odmor Water is freezing every time of the week,the entry is to expensive for what you get (they did build 2-3 big slides,still not in function , but ticket is pumped like they are). There is stuff for children,except the water is to cold, so only bigger children can enjoy but there is no interesting things for them. All in all a bit dumb . 2* are only because it looks good and it is new otherwise 👎 Aquapark Shhhuma has various options for fun and relaxation, with the water slides definitely being the best. On the other hand, for swimmers who want to train, there's a large Olympic pool that's perfect for training. Also the staff is really kind and friendly.
