We visited this place to hear the Green Pipes and visit the Medieval Fair. It was a very different and very enjoyable day out spent with friends. Nice atmosphere for Weddings, Street Food Fests, etc... Castle was closed for tours today. Lovely. I love walking the grounds with my aunt every time I visit Germany. Well kept walking trail. Lots of history here. Even Queen Victoria was here once (and is said to have scratched her name on a window-pane). It is possible to take a tour but only once a month. Check the time on the website. This has been turned into a residence or business. Google needs to update Not much to see… quite disappointing. Not open, even though the sign says it is. A beautiful castle from 17th century! The garden is well maintained. However, there are no information available as when the castle interiors are opened for public. Would love to have that information somewhere outside.
