Place itself is super cool but above all the guides, both for adults and kids, are superb. And all for pennies. What a treat, 5 stars is not enough! Beautiful 16th-17th century castle currently being restored to its former glory. They only offer guided tours as the castle is privately owned and operated. Our tour guide was phenomenal! She was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, she really brought the castle back to life! FYI, they even offer escape room challenges for those inclined! Definitely inquire if interested. It was definitely worth the trip! This place looks absolutely amazing..unfortunately they do weddings and receptions do we weren't allowed in but peeping through the windows we'll definitely visit again It's a nice place for a walk, haven't been in the castle though. There is also a small coffee place A very interesting visit. Our guide presented the different rooms simply and clearly. The owners have taken on a huge task to restore the château to its former glory. They have made a good start; there is long way to go and it will be interesting to see the changes next time we visit. The most beautiful castle in all of France! So glad I purchased a cap. Worth it! We really enjoyed visiting with our 2 young children. The tour is in French but it isn't too long and there is some written information in English. The grounds were great for the children with a trail, little house, huge maze and our older son found the tree nets very exciting. The little cafe and ice creams were very useful too and the staff very friendly.
