It is no longer known exactly what the stones were erected for, but they must have been extremely impressive for people at the time. I wouldn't go here just for the stones, but you can combine a trip with a short walk around Pen Hir. Afterwards you can go for a meal in the harbour of Camaret, which makes a nice trip. Great megalithic alignment, lots of visitors. Fair amount of parking. A must see for all you megalith hunters. The monument ist quite interesting. I miss some information about it there. But the view and the landscape is amazing. But: Only visit it if you are close. Not worth for a long trip. Impressive stones. Parking for free next to the stones. They were build in the Neolithikum. Unfotunately many of the stones got lost. This is a very interesting site, and it's special in that it's on the coast. It's unfortunate that local town planning has allowed building so close to the site. It would benefit from more signage and podcasts about the history, ideally in a few languages. It would be good to have signage in braille. It was okay to push a stroller, but I'm not sure about wheelchair access.
