However, once I ordered, the delivery time was acceptable given the capacity of the tavern and the occupancy at this time of the day. It was quite overcrowded. The food was good, no major concerns. We went a few times to eat at that place . Our impression was that it is a nice family friendly restaurant. The meat is well cooked and seasoned. We recommend the mushrooms with sesame. Over all I believe our best experience in Kavala - for money and quality of service and food . Great place to eat ! Quiet just like you would like sunny day at the beach to be, loved it, no charge for use of chair and umbrella and the taverne provider great food at even better prices. The service was outstanding, particularly our waitress, who was not only incredibly friendly but also highly knowledgeable about the menu. The food was excellent, everything we ordered was very tasty and the portions were generous. Both the fish and the meat dishes we ordered were great. Several vegetarian choices on the menu as well. The prices were reasonable and there was plenty of parking space right next to the restaurant. Overall highly recommended! I already knew the place. During this 3-4 years, food quality became a bit lower. During our first visit, almost all cow was on the plate. We hardly finished our portions. Now portions were a bit smaller. We ordered steak and beefburger. Steak was a bit hard. Burger was ok. I recommend beef cheek in the restaurant. Say hi to Dimitris, very good guy. The best place for food in Kavala Kind stuff! The food was good, but the staff seemed bored, not eager to talk to, and very unhappy, which made you feel unwelcomed, besides a gentleman and a young girl. The toilets were dirty and unsanitary. But the food was nice, but quite pricey for what they offered.
