This place made our vacation magnificent. We had a luck to stumble on this bar when we came to Ammolofoi for the first time and then we came back 5 times in total. Parking is huge and in the shadow of trees. The bar is modern and fully staffed. Everything looks professional. They do have many rules for sunbeads usage like consumption for first 4 rows (120, 100, 80 and 60 eur) and fixed price of 10 eur plus consumption for the rest. Nobody is pushing you to overspend, they are always there paying attention for your needs. Food is really and variety of drinks and foods is huge. and bar are clean and all amenities works (wifi, wc, dressing room etc.). is and not too loud. Sunbeds are comfy. It's located on Ammolofoi Beach, a popular spot in Kavala, where there are many bars. They charge €30 per person for a second-row sunbed, plus €10 for an umbrella. The food is affordable and delicious. The pizza dough was very good, but the tomato sauce could have been thicker. They bring a large ice bucket with your drink, which is great. The parking lot is ample and shaded. The sea is child-friendly and clear. The is excellent; the waiters are constantly on the move and deliver very quickly. I was very pleased. I would recommend it. Crystall water, nice music. is not so fast and food is not great. But and sea and vibe worths the stars. I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Peponi Bar. Despite it being June, they still hadn't set up their umbrellas and sunbeds. We had made a reservation, yet we were forced to wait 30 minutes while they slowly brought up the umbrellas. Even though we requested a spot close to the water, they gave preferential treatment to others who arrived after us, simply because they complained more loudly. Instead, we were offered terrible spots under the sound bar where it was incredibly noisy. Adding insult to injury, they charged 10 euros for a sunbed and imposed a consumption of 60 euros per person. The staff was rude and incompetent throughout the process. After waiting so long under the scorching sun, we decided to leave. The quality has declined drastically since last year. I do not recommend Peponi Bar! Not a bad place, but it's a bit over-rated. We spent a week there on September and if you come until 10:30h. you can actually find a place to relax but at the weekends and maybe at the best season almost all beds are reserved. Drinks were okay but we didn't like the food. is very slow. Beds were better than the other bars. Very pleasant place, but mostly for young people. It is too noisy for families with children. Infrastructure is good. Toilets and showers are enough, and you can use them without queuing. Great place. is good. Food is delicious. Two big points to improve - make buzzers to call waiter or waitress, its too boring to wait them more than 20/30min to order something or ask/pay a bill. The second one is that the amount for first line is too big for two people for example - dont be greedy! Great bar, excellent service. The beach, the water and the sand was very clean and super nice. We were a group of four, and when it came time to pay, the bill was €50 higher than what we had actually consumed. Since we paid by card, the server claimed that the receipt was “automatically destroyed.” This was partly our fault for not checking the bill beforehand, but we also didn’t expect them to make the receipt disappear — how do they even handle their audits like that? Be careful here. Always check your bill before paying, and if possible, pay in cash. Probably the best one on this sea line. Perfect service, food, the sand and the sea are amazing and clean. Peponi is a fantastic place to relax by the sea. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making sure you have a great experience. The food is fresh and tasty, and the drinks are spot on—perfect for a beachside setting. The adds to the laid-back vibe, with chill tunes during the day and a bit more energy as the evening rolls in. The location is beautiful, right on the with amazing views. If you're looking for a place to unwind with food, drinks, and great service, Peponi Bar is definitely worth a visit! we were there this summer, and we were really pleased with the environment, the service, the food... we paid 150€ spending per person and we had an huge umbrella with big seats for 4 persons, and you can order anything from the bar or the food made by the bar. but everything was ok, the drinks, the cocktails, i recommend the mix plate Meat Lovers with different kind of meat it was so delicious. and the fantastic off course Take care, tourist trap. They request orders for different umbrellas, which is not communicated in any obvious way (only a "reserved"stone is placed on the table but no one is telling you how much they want). Turned out for our umbrella a of 120 € was required, what they told us when we asked to pay. One could say for a larger group it is easier to spend that amount of money but more than 3 persons will need a second umbrella. Also was hard to find and they also brought wrong orders. I have been for summer vacation in peramos for 20 years and still fell for that cheap trick. Well it is clear that none of us nor any family is ever going to that place again. we went around 11:30 it was not so full we were seated immediately, under the red umbrellas you have flat tax of 10€ and consumation of 60€, we ordered frappes which were nice. Everything came fast. I dont know what i expected from the loaded fries, but given the fact they have so many burger options i expected real cheddar not some cinema radioactive orange sause. The Cezar salad was good, the sause was a bit too much, but overall was good. For the Atmosphere at around 13 they raised the volume of the so that we couldn’t normally talk to each other. Next to us were families with kids who were shouting because they also couldnt hear eachother. Keep in mind we were on the 3th row which ir relatively aaay from the music. I went to speak to the dj if its possible to lower the volume a little bit. He said i need to speek to the manager or something. This person was kind enough to listen to me and even came to our spot to hear for himself but at the end all he said is that he is doing this for long years and this is standart. I can not understand all the bars that do this with the music, do they really want to encourage people to leave faster, maybe but when we pay around 70€ for a day on the i expect to at least be able to relax and rely on the people that i am giving this money.
