Wow, the best trigona I have ever eaten! Fresh, crispy and flavorful! The profiterole is great too! They prepare everything on the spot so everything is fresh! 10/10 for the taste, variety, quality and incredible service! We even got a profiterole as gift! The only negative here is that the prices are a bit high but the quality is definitely there! Delicious deserts with amazing ice . They have decaf option but the latte tasted only like milk and was not hot enough. Other than that must try! Probably the best Kavala Biscuit (Kavala Kurabiyesi) (μπισκότο καβάλας) in the town; which is made of flour, almonds and sugar powder. No need to buy from the popular one’s bcs they are expensive and not delicious as Evangelou’s… Amazing atmosphere, the choices will blow your mind.. yummy yummy Recommend the profiterole 🥰 Amazing coffee. Amazing ice cream. Tried a few cakes and we're very good. Definitely a place to explore as they have a lot of products. You will have to self by bringing your products to the table which is yet a little inconvenient. Girls serving are very nice and pleasent. A atmosphere and definitely a place to stop by on Kavala. Excellent small / sweets place. Patient employees, fast and top quality service. If you want something sweet or a coffee, then this is the best place in Kavala Not only the taste but also the packing was wonderful. Friendly people, explaining all the details and letting us taste. A patisserie with lots of options to choose from. We had the chance to visit on sunday. Most of the cafes and restaurants were closed but Evangelou was open. The employees were very kind and helpful. Should definitely try their famous profiteroles. You get to decide the ingredients such as which chocolate to have on top. A place to definitely stop by in Kavala! We ate baklava and iceream. Bakvala was very dry inside and hard on outside. Would not recommend. Iceream was decent, lemon was pretty good. You have to wait in two separate lines for icecream and pastries, of coruse no one tells you that when you enter so we waited around 10 mins. Ice was ok but don’t believe they work until 11pm… We were eating out ice creams at 10:30pm ( as I’m posting this ) and the person working there went out and started saying that they are closing and we have to get out now, very rudely. I said that we can see it says they are working until 11pm and he said “No I close now” and he really was very rude!!! We were 10 people, everyone got something to eat, we paid a lot for an awful service. We were kicked out as we were still eating, mind you there were kids with us. I hope they didn’t do this based on our nationality because it would be literally illegal ( 🇧🇬 in 🇬🇷 ). Rudest person in Greece is working in that patisserie. She didn’t come to help us for 5 minutes and when she arrived the two sentences that she said are “Don’t open the cookie boxes” (none of the boxes were opened) and “Did you take any? (How can a person take any cookies without paying). I hope she get some help to fix her disrespectful behaviours. Manners please. The pastries are better than the average patisserie(4.2/5). The atmosphere isn't really that crazy it's the basic patisserie shop(3.5/5), but the is excellent especially yesterday (Sunday) it was packed with people but the chubby lady that helped me out(no offense)was still cheerful and willing to answer my guestion (4.7/5) Over all pretty experience I would recommend especially now that the holidays are coming Very ice cream. Very interesting store. We’ll have to come back for more. Great sweets and coffee!it’s a must to try the ice cream, we had the Pop corn ice it’s TOP! Bravo for everything and the from Mary 👏!!! If you’re ever in Kavala, and need a coffee/tea .. go here. Great atmosphere and kind owners .. and buy their locally made authentic greek deserts. Thks Dave .. a Kiwi from downunder ..
