A pleasant place to enjoy a drink and bite to it whilst enjoying the sea air. A small sandy is great for the kids, plenty of on street car parking nearby which is only £3 for the whole day. Visited today for the first time, and it was stunningly beautiful. If you visit Seaham, this is a must visit and see, especially if you want to grab a bite to eat away from the main strip. There's lots of little bars and cafes that are hidden away all of which are reasonably priced and aren't busy. There's sufficient parking down the too. There's toilet facilities there, and I would say is worth visiting any time of year due to how beautiful it is. Apart from the itself, which has some interesting features, there is in the town one of the best tributes to the fallen in the World Wars I have ever seen. The photos tell it better than words. Miners are also acknowledged and tribute paid to their labour. The Durham Light Infantry also receives recognition. Away from the rather tatty Church Street there are some fine buildings and extensive beaches .There is also a hideous Home bargains and Asda, and several other such buildings. The Wetherspoons, though not much of a building, and disappointing, if you are a fan of Wetherspoons and it's, sometimes, special conversions of buildings. But the food is fine. Overall, the town ...even the pub. ..is worth a visit. The has a nice calming effect, just watching the waves. Has shops, restaurants & toilets. Seeing the beach, Disabled people wouldn't be able to get down to the as steep stairs. It was nice on the marina. The car park is £1 an hr. Fishing is allowed, but it needs to be registered with the seaham sea angling club. Nice little coastal spot, parking can be an issue when the sun shines, plenty of fish and chip shops. Great coastal walking south of here. The has a nice calming effect, just watching the waves. Has shops, restaurants & toilets. We rode there on our bikes and found a great cafe, Lookout, somewhere for the bikes too A lovely place to visit. I do think that in future they will do more. Great place to relax and take refreshments from The Pancake Kitchen (best scones ever!) Fabulous little marina with some greats cafes and shops. Seaham Slope next door to the marina is a wonderful which is perfect for our cold water dips. Stunningly beautiful early on a morning and there’s a fantastic swimming community down there. Seaham Marina is a wonderful place! The views of the sea are breathtaking, and there's a nice atmosphere. The marina itself is clean and well-maintained, with helpful staff. You can take a leisurely stroll along the docks or grab a bite to eat at one of the nearby cafes. It's a great spot for relaxing and enjoying the seaside vibe. Highly recommended for a peaceful day out by the water!. Free parking🤩. This took my breath away It is so beautiful Met the local fisherman, who was so friendly but had only caught a crab all day. Just stunning views as far as the eye can see.
