This was my first time attending this festival. I enjoyed it very much, I just wish the employees were available or more visible when leaving the venue. The information printed out was a bit different from what I experienced at the venue. I wish I knew about the available shuttle buses. Please be aware that one must trudge up a gravel/dirt path to the festival. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience. I arrived very early so that explains my long wait time. We booked our to be sure. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Our was Dian? Her son was helping with the gates and pictures. Great knowledge of the area and helping to create a visual of what was on the land so long ago, woven with the tales of myth or reality? Tour lasted 2 hours 20 mins. Be.prepared with the correct clothing as we had rain, wind (got very chilly) then the sun came out and it was hot! Had a coffee before we headed off. Great time and I had been wanting to visit the for years. Amazing place with a lot of history. The fire was an incredible experience. I think the ticket is a bit pricey and if you are going there with a budget you might not get the full experience. I traveled without a car and the shuttle service leaves at 9pm or 11pm, maybe more times should be included so people can enjoy the without rushing to leave before the sundown I had an inspiring private of Uisneach today. It was so special and sacred to me. Sarah is a very knowledgeable and all around wonderful person. I wish this ancient was known to more visitors to Ireland as it is the heart and soul of the country. Scores of historical events have taken place at this site. The land is truly beautiful to behold. I will have to return for the Beltaine fire in the future to see the hill lit up and partake in the celebrations. Also, thank you to Graham for handling the booking of my tour, and the wild flowers on display. Eriú 💚💚💚 Myself and my husband did the guided on Saturday 25th October. It was outstanding. The was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and conveyed the information in a very interesting way. We were totally engaged for the entire tour. We would highly recommend it! We did a sunset with our Sean, and I can honestly say it was magical. We learned so much history and folklore, Sean had a brilliant mind with so many tales woven in, I could have listened to him for hours. It is a truly special place, and watching the sunset from the top of the summit was something I’ll never forget. We topped it off with a fire pit and watched the moon rise and the stars twinkle. It was genuinely breathtaking. Our of the Hill of Uisneach was outstanding. The guide, Justin Moffett not only had great command of historical facts and folklore, he presented the with remarkable storytelling capability. This was one of the top experiences of a ten-day throug Mystical Ireland. The is easily managed, walkable, and the customer center has unique gifts for sale. Love this place. This was a fantastic boutique honouring the ancient Irish practice of welcoming summer by lighting the Bealtine fire. Parking was very easy to get in and out of. Lots of space and no delays. Lots to do and see in a very safe and relaxed environment. Great food options. Views were amazing as was the sunset and the lightning of the fire. Magnifisent steeped in myth and history. Wanted to come here for years and was not disappoined. Beautiful and deeply spiritual place. The excursion led by Simon was informative and entertaining at the same time. Two and a half hours were gone in a blink. I am already planning my return. Incredible experience! Our guide, Ruth, was amazing and talked across areas of geology, archaeology, history, folklore, and more. Her love for this place drew us all in and we learned so much. The Hill of Uisneach is being considered for UNESCO World Heritage and we wish them all the best. Absolutely amazing and tour. Our guid was fantastic with her knowledge, storytelling and the pace she went. The energy of the place was so therapeutic. The gift shop was excellent too. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Helen took us on a of ‘Ush Na’ she taught us how to say Hill of Uisneach correctly. It was a later tour, 6-8 pm of a Friday night. We loved it! Helen made the informative, interactive, and absolutely joy! Her love and passion for this sacred place was contagious. It’s the best of any sacred we have ever had - better than Egypt. Thank you Helen and Ush Na!
