The playground for the kiddos is great. Camp pitches are well spaced with a cute natural wall separating the sites. The showers are a euro for 7 minutes, but the water gets instantly hot and facilities are well maintained. The gentleman at check in was very warm and welcoming. Just back from a night in Lough Ennell and I have to say I do honestly think the bad reviews here are quite unfair. I found the owner to be welcoming and helpful and we loved our night here. It’s very peaceful, lovely little cafe/shop, toilets and showers were clean. There is laundry facilities too but we did not use them. Lovely walks through the forest and around the lough. If you are looking for a peaceful trip definitely give it a go! We are from New Zealand, and stayed here in our rental Motorhome, for 2 nights in June 2025. This place is simply Beautiful, lovely surroundings, trees and hedges creating a very private setting..Eamon is the greatest host, making us feel welcome ,and nothing was a problem when we asked to stay another night, and to get change for the showers...I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a caravan, tent or motorhome camping. It has everyhing, play ground for kids, a lake and hiking tracks that are like something out of a movie, I wished we could stay longer..and if ever we come back ..we will stay again. Thank you to Eamon and his entire family for this wonderful experience. 10 stars in my book.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Nice park. Owner v off putting. Bad manners. Had a problem with the tent next to us the lenth of their tent ropes. Said they were Too long. (V windy night ) next day he Give out to a camper van across from us when the the girls mother called to see her for 15 minutes to get something . Instead of saying he had a problem. He went knocking with a booking form showing how many checked in . Being sarcastic . He goes through rubbish bins non stop . Even late at night . banging the lids with a temper if he not happy whats in the bags. Hes Make you feel uncomfortable or being watched. Maybe we just got him on bad day but 4 of us stayed 2 campers 2 tents on way to tullamore show. Would not go back. Great location . park is nice and found the long term guests in mobile home s v friendly and pleasant. Great playground if you have kids we passed a pet farm just a short walk up the road for familys . The lake is at the front gate next to a coffee shop and sauna . toilet and showers are little dated but are grand .little walk in dark from top area if in a tent Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
