We decided to stop there because some friends told us it is an amazing place for food. We just tried the Steak sandwich, but we weren't really impressed. Some of the chips were still tough and undercooked and the pepper sauce was a little bit flavorless. Definitely we want to go back to try their carvery and other stuff in the menu so this review might change then. The service was perfect and the place is quite beautiful. Beautiful dinner plenty of everything good quality. Lovely pints aswell. Highly recommend and will be coming back again for food .Great value too Great spot for lunch. More than plenty and very delicious at an affordable price as well. Guinness was nice and creamy too, with friendly staff. Very spacious locale and the was friendly too. Great place for lunch, plenty of parking, and a great atmosphere for a few drinks. Truly what an Irish pub should be. Hats off to the owner & staff. You can't a better than here at Maunsells. Full Irish with toast/soda bread,tea/coffee,mini and veggie breakfast.Others to choose from too.Fast efficient and food is perfectly cooked.Been several times and never disappointed. A lovely place to have an Irish Breakfast. They also have a carvery after 12 so no is available that time, which is ok as the food was good too. There's no alternative milk, just regular milk. My wife and I had some wraps for lunch. They were lovely. We did not realise how big they were. If we had known we would not have ordered chips as well. We will definitely be going again. Great spot for Guinness after a long day. Quiet, laid-back vibe with a nice, cozy interior. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy a proper beer. One of those pubs you’ll want to come back to. Great on a Sunday morning, recommended👍 A group of motorcyclists met up for on Sunday 18th may before we went on our charity run excellent service and very nice food would really recommend to anyone Man on carvery very rude and aggressive. Asked if there was any turkey and ham available and told no. There was turkey and ham there? When questioned about it he got very defensive and aggressive. Maybe don’t work front of house if you don’t like the general pubic. The young girl who we paid with couldn’t have been nicer apologising and offering free dessert - he obviously is like this all the time. Absolutely fantastic!!! I had my daughters christening party at Maunsell's Tullamore & it honestly exceeded my expectations! The food was fresh & very tasty! The was extremely friendly & everything was done with a smile & not one request was too much for any of the members they were all happy to help! We were able to decorate the venue to our own liking!! Honestly 5 stars isn't enough I'd give the place 10!!! Highly recommend. Food was diabolical. Wings weren't hot but really sickly sweet and way over cooked. Portion of chips I ordered were tiny. My Dad ordered tenders and they were burnt and hard as a rock. Mam had a sandwich and she said it was like rubber. You'd be better microwaving something at home. I had a very disappointing experience at this place. The overall cleanliness did not inspire confidence — the cutlery was kept in a container that looked dirty, and the only fork left was sitting on top of crumbs. I ordered the chicken curry with rice, but while eating I noticed a small blue piece of what looked like cloth mixed in with the rice. I immediately pointed this out to a member. She apologised, took the plate away, and then returned just a couple of minutes later with the exact same plate, saying it was “just a tiny piece of paper” and placed it back in front of me. When I asked if they expected me to continue eating that, she simply said “no, sorry about that” and walked away. Between the lack of cleanliness, foreign objects in the food, and the dismissive response from staff, I cannot recommend this place.
