I love this place as it is right halfway between Dublin and Mayo. Also, as a bus driver, I have always been offered a cup of coffee, and it has lots of bus slots close to the entrance. Guests also loved the place because it offers a wide variety of food and refreshments. Great place for a pit stop. The place is lovely and clean, including toilets. Foor is yummy. There is a good choice. We had Supermacs. Person on the till was nice, but I could hardly hear him as he spoke so quietly, plus they got my order wrong, but I didn't complain. Generally a good place to eat and park up for the night for HGVs No enough stars could rate this amazing place😍 I count every single kilometer in my way to and from County Mayo as Ballinalack is my rest stop. Del food, clean toilets, clean seating areas and above all, smiling helpful employees. For a fast food joint the food was delicious. The in the burgers was plentiful and cooked well. A great place to when driving across the country. as a bus driver this place is always on my list to stop for passengers and if on my own top marks from me for parking never an issue and most of all they keep there toilets very very clean I can't fault in any way this place is always very busy so a little wait on the food is well worth it 20/08/2025 my partner and I had had a lunch box and 10 tenders. The food was totally died out and only eatable as we were quite hungry. After a subsequent 1,5 hours driving, I hardly made it to the gents and did feed the remaining 5 tenders to the dog. My partner got sick that night and so did our dog. An experience I/we won’t ever be repeating. Had a wonderful experience here with the family. Food was very fresh and hot. It was very busy but we weren't waiting a long time for food. They forgot my toy with my kids meal and when I asked about it they handed me 2 for my son. It is usually very busy here and loud so if that isn't your thing I would go at a quieter time of day. Always a pleasant food is always fresh the staff are very helpful and polite. There was a lovely man working there yesterday doing table service of what I think is Indian heritage needs a raise he made everyone that he was serving smile including me and my family. We used to love this supermacks , always looking forward to the breast burgers. Over the last couple of years the food quality got worse and worse . Today the was so bad we couldn't even eat it. Looked and tasted like a two day's old frozen nugget fried and then refried in rancid oil. The bun was stale and the chips were simply awful.
