Augsburg is really interesting in that one finds places like this one just a little outside the main area. On the tower the is visible and suddenly appears smaller. It makes for great walk from fairly distant car park to walk up. The houses themselves in this town give somewhat a feel of Bavaria being wooden (a few), with typical narrow streets. If you're looking for a WOW experience, well the monument isn't exactly that. However, a place indeed on any day you feel like escaping life to switch environment. Nice view from top of the tower. The hilltop area is great for a panoramic view over the of Augsburg. You can watch sunrise from the hilltop. Beautiful tower that is opened during weekdays.
