Beautiful little beach on the wonderful island of Madeira 👌🏽 I absolutely love it! It has everything you need, some shade, walking boards, a little sand, and an awesome pool for the kids. It is a great place to bring the kids to burn energy. This beach has a small (approx 30m) section with soft black sand, and the rest is very large rounded pebbles / very small rocks. They've created a wooden walkway, and there are a small number of wooden platforms which are good for 2-3 people, a number of which have parasols, making sunbathing a lot easier if you can get one. The water is calm as it's in a man-made bay. Nice to pass a few hours, and the sunset here is lovely. Small beach with black sand covered with rocks. Definitely had a nice time. Good thing there's a wooden walkway. Beautiful sunset. Absolutely loved my time here, the beach is rocky but it didn’t matter at all. Loved the manmade pool, just a lovely spot that I was happy to spend a few days in ☺️ Excellent for jogging or walks, right by the seaside. Fresh air and breeze, with plenty of lights in the evening. We went here in January and it was a nice place, minimal waves, and not many people. Very nice black sand beach. Changing rooms and toilets nearby.
