There was a room full of information and a walk around the gardens but apart from that you only need around 1 hour to visit here. The exhibition is very well conceived, explaining how the plant is raised and the effort it takes to produce bananas. You can roam around the plantation at your own pace. The coffee shop had delicious treats made with bananas, the Pastel de Nata de was a must have! Interesting place! At the time we went with the ticket we also had free and could try salty chips, which turned out delicious! There was also beer and other foods and drinks. fields were also nice to see. We had such a great time at this niche little museum! We were staying nearby and looking for a fun mid day activity. The inside is pretty small but they clearly made an effort to mix in some history of cultivation on the island with some very cool modern technology. A bulk of the consists of the tree gardens. It was very cool to see the plants up close and see them in all stages of development. The highlight for us was the cafeteria - we went all out and got pretty much everything!
