They charge you an entrance fee, extra fees for atractions that should be included, and you even have to pay to use the washroom! If you have small children, I think it’s ok to visit to entertain them but for adults, skip it. Not even worth the 3eur. Lady at the counter was very rude on Saturday (22nd of june)when i asked about the different tickets. Don’t work in Customer service if you don’t want to smile or talk to people. Beautiful flowers but that’s all about. For plenty of entertainment to keep them busy for a few hours. Even you buy ticket, you still need to pay inside for the toilet, unacceptable. Nice small thematique Madeira park, with some Activities for kids. The place is family friendly, a lot of entertainment options for smaller visitors. You can actually spenc half a day there feeding fish, having a small boat trip, visiting traditional Madeira A shape houses and learning about craftmenship history, feeding goats, sheeps, pigs and other domestic animals, having a quick ride in Madeira discovery history, and other things. Good to know - there is a seperate parking for tourist busses, and the other one next to it on the right side for private cars. Small place where you spend max.2 hours with kids.I would recommend with kids, otherwise you can be bored.Nice places to take Photos .You can buy Basic ticket or all inclusive.In that case you can go by train,by boat for free (all activity included ) . It’s really worth it. The entrance is 3€ and you can walk peacefully in about 30’-45’ admiring various specific things from the island. There is plenty of free parking and also a good fit for the ones with Very small, tired place. Not impressed with the animal welfare. Not really sure what we paid for (& paid on top for toilets etc) 'attractions' were poor tourist promotions. Levada info was interesting but overall not at all good value for money. Only have 2 stars as may be OK for small children on a nice day with nothing else to do.
