Clean & tidy walk-around It's only a 10 minute from valkenburg , you have a choice of three different walks with different coloured way markers, green red black. At the geulpark you have the zoo the lake the castle oost and a memorial on the site where a ww2 Halifax bomber crashed killing all 7crew. This place might not be the most polished park, it's more like an abandoned place to me. The grass grows a little wild and there’s a wooden bridge or deck leading to the lake that’s already worn down and broken in places. However, I really like being here, especially during dark and gloomy autumn days. It’s hidden and quiet, and it somehow feels magical while giving off horror movie vibes. I’ve visited this place many times with friends. We’d sit on the benches, enjoying the dark and moody atmosphere, chatting for a while, and then wandering deeper into the to explore the wooded areas. The is huge and is home to plenty of animals. You can see ducks and birds near the water, and if you further in, you might come across sheep and even horses. my favorite place for sports and hiking A wonderful place to your dog, fish, exercise, picnic with family.
