However, our lane broke down multiple times, which cost us playing time. Unfortunately, the lost time wasn’t added back, even though the venue wasn’t busy and several lanes were available. They provided good deals through Groupon. Unfortunately it was very busy when I went which meant that the shoes and bowling balls that fit me were gone. This led me to have some ankle pain and sore thumbs afterward. The food and drinks that we had were good, prices are pushing the high side of average I suppose. Overall I would go there again but I would pick a day where it is less busy. You can tell in the entrance area that it's getting a bit long in the tooth, but I can't fault the catering area. The staff are nice and courteous. Our wishes were always catered for and we had quite a few. Not everyone speaks German, but as a German I can't speak Dutch either. If you want to spend some quality time, you're in very good hands there. First of all: If you don't understand English, be honest and say you don't so that people can try speaking to you in German. The person at the counter has one job, which is to book reservations when someone calls. After calling '2 times' to confirm the reservation for 7pm to 9pm, the person at the counter still booked our reservation for 5pm (17:00 hours). And after going there he argues (quite rudely) that we said 17:00 and we just called once. I think there is a big difference when someone says 17:00 hours and 7PM. Tip for the owner: Not anything against old people but you need young people at the counter because maybe you have lot of rush and the person couldn't handle the pressure.
