The course is very good. Lots of water traps and fast greens. The service is also very good. Needs improvement on club rentals. They are very old and not even in fair condition. You better have your own. Very interesting course. Feels like it is almost located in a svamp. Very difficult for high hcp players. You really need a buggy. Prepare yourself with a lot of extra balls. Played for 4 days, the never changed location of the pin, very sad. Receptionist was great with very English. Rest of staff was very kind, but they really struggle with English. Food in is ok, not more. When I planed our trip the V-Club was imediately on my list. Its course not to miss when you play around the Vilnius. Course itself is part of the hotel and it is very easy to find and reach. Its in close distance to highway to Vilnius. We arrived day earlier so I had chance to explore whole with lake and other activities and for sure its place to visit. During coffee I had great chat with sales director of the Nikita Dang, and she gave me great overview about packages and offers. Our checking process was quick and fast and recceptionist were helpful and gave us all needed info. I should also mention that we were impressed by design, which is very modern style. For the golfers who enjoy their practice session before the game, there is driving range on oposite side of clubhouse. In front of the clubhouse, almost on terrace of the restaurant are putting and chipping greens, so you can watch your collegues practice why siping cocktails. Since Im the golfer who never practice, lets go directly to course itself. From its about 5 minutes walk to first tee, and I say I would enjoy better navigation signs to find it. But we did. Ahh forgot to mention, buy enough repelent at pro shop. From first hole to last one you will need to bring your best game, course is very challenging and require accurate shots, especially if you are there first time. Fairways are wide enough surrounded with trees, however when you are not on you are in hazzard and everywhere. This is the first course where I have to admit that its also difficult for ladies. Many times front tees are way too easy, but not here. Orientation on course was with tall signs with direction. I enjoy the greens, great speed and they roll fair, not much undulated. Front nine seem to me a bit easier, back nine I played alone, because my partner give up she lost almost all balls. I want to particulary highlight hole 12, which is by me, most difficult hole. Once again finishig green as well as 9th are not next to cluhouse, which is a bit pity for such a nice course, that you cannot observe final puts from it, and you have to walk again about 5 minutes back. If you want to take a bite at restaurant after game, prepare for slow service, however food is great. Overall, the V-Club is must and its worth to visit and spend few days in to play few times to improve the game. We can only recommend. We took an initial course as we are novices in golf. It was worth it! Definitely will come back to learn more and some day hope to play seriously. Vorige week hier een ronde gespeeld. Prachtige, uitdagende baan. Heel veel water en het onderhoud is prima. We speelden aan het einde van de dag en dan is de overlast van de muggen wel groot. De baan ligt in een waterrijk gebied, dat verklaart voorgaand punt. Desondanks een heerlijke ronde gelopen en genoten van de hoogteverschillen, mooie onderhoud en uitdagende holes. Big modern club. It is the first club I have ever visited so it is hard to evaluate. But for me it was very good. It has a school, a driving range, a restaurant and ofcourse the course with 18 holes which would be arround 12km to walk. Very beautiful course! P.s. A lot of trickshot options available, just bring extra balls for those island shots. 😅 I played the course on the 06/07/2024 and I was very impressed. The greens had been cored a couple of weeks before I played, so they weren't in the best condition they could be, but other than that, I couldn't flaw the condition of the course. I didn't see any sand buckets, so many divots hadn't been repaired, however the course didn't appear to be overly played, so this wasn't much of a problem. The course is in a beautiful setting amongst a forest/lake area and even the rough is pretty in parts, however as others have mentioned, if you stray off the fairway, it is very easy to lose balls here. The bunkering was fairly basic, but the course would probably play too hard for most if there were more bunkers. The lady running the pro shop was friendly & helpful and could speak fluent English. The hire clubs were excellent for a hire set. It is worth requesting to choose your own hire set as not all of the clubs were as as the ones I chose. If you are staying at the resort, it is worth getting the shuttle bus from the city to save you the cost of travelling here. The food in the was some of the best I've had at a course and the waiter was also friendly.
